How To Make the Glass Half Full

How To Make the Glass Half Full

Is the glass half empty or is the glass half full? Two people can see the same situation in completely different ways; one positively, one negatively.

Imagine: One person gets fired from their job. They worry endlessly and feel sad all the time.
Now image another person who loses their job. They’re upset about losing their job but are excited to finally have the chance to pursue their dream job.

The person who looks at a situation negatively will despair and give up. The person who looks at a situation positively will preserve in hardship and trek forward towards better things. Everyone reaches roadblocks in all aspects of their life. The only way to overcome these roadblocks is to positively preserve. Here are some tips on how to do it:

1) Don’t waste your time replaying the past. A lot of people focus on what they’ve lost instead of focusing on what they can gain.
2) Write down lessons from your mistakes so that you don’t make them again!
3) Continue to strive for success and be confident that you will attain it. Refer to our ‘Solo Driven Singles’ blog on how to do that
